The 2008 Cobweb Cruise was held at the Brownsville Marina over the weekend of March 28 - 29.  The weather was a little cool and one boat had to turn back because of heavy snow, but six boats did arrive for the weekend.  Those that came on Friday were the Rumours, Wabbitt(with Bill and Margaret Schlemmer), Essex, Ebb-n-Ive 2, and Opus One.  Final Destiny - with 2 exchange students aboard - arrived Saturday morning and Marilyn Rigly and Ed Nash arrived by motor home. Driving were Harold and Audrey Isaacson, John and Linda  Dawson, new members Steve Carey and Pam Clark, Bob and Maggie Stevens and Chris and Colleen Kemp. We sang Happy Birthday to Colleen Kemp (March 29), Colleen McIntyre (March 27) and Ed Nash (March 31). Because of the cool, rainy, windy weather it was so nice to have the Brownsville YC clubhouse to gather in. The wine tasting and Carver food matching the wine countries was wonderful. Sunday morning we did an impromptu breakfast with Claire and Shannon Wagner providing Belgium waffles. It was a memorable weekend!
