This years cruising season got started early with a land cruise by Amtrak train to Portland Oregon. Commodore Audrey and Captain Harold led a group that departed from the Tacoma train station that included Vice-Commodore Amy Dyers with Quentin and Courtney,  Stan and Mary Serbousek, Mike and Roxanne Parish and Bill and Margaret Schlemmer.  Chris and Colleen Kemp joined the group as the train passed through Olympia.  After we arrived at our hotel in Portland, Ken and Karen Fletcher joined us for great weekend in the Rose City.
