Carver Cruiser’s 2006 cruising season got started with a Valentine’s Weekend Land Cruise to Seaside, Oregon. Here are a few pictures from Seaside.

We weren’t the first group to make a land cruise to Seaside - Lewis and Clark were here a few years before us.

If we’d been here two hundred years earlier, we’d have seen three men from the Lewis and Clark group mining salt from the ocean. It took them over six weeks to make the salt necessary to prepare for the trip home.
