Seaside Oregon

Carver Cruiser’s 2006 cruising season got started with a Valentine’s Weekend Land Cruise to Seaside, Oregon.  Here are a few pictures from Seaside.

Seaside welcomed Carver Cruisers Harold and Audrey Isaacson, Bill and Margaret Schlemmer, Chris and Colleen Kemp, Gene and Tanya Currier, Stan and Mary Serbousek and Amy, Quentin and Courtney Dyers.

We weren’t the first group to make a land cruise to Seaside - Lewis and Clark were here a few years before us.

Happy Hour at the SeaShore Inn before the Friday night blackout.

Saturday brought a sunny morning at the ocean.

A good day for an early morning stroll on over three miles of beach.

If we’d been here two hundred years earlier, we’d have seen three men from the Lewis and Clark group mining salt from the ocean.  It took them over six weeks to make the salt necessary to prepare for the trip home.

Sunday morning we enjoyed a final group breakfast...

And one last walk on the beach before heading home.
